10: FileMaker Skills Quiz and Certificate

'It's not about knowing the answers, it's about knowing how to find the answers.' ~ my good-self, in FileMaker Knowledge Delegation.

This is the last lesson. Twenty-five multiple-choice questions, drawn at random from a larger pool that covers lessons 00–09. Score 80% or better, twenty of twenty-five, and you've earned the certificate.

How the FileMaker Skills Quiz Works

Lesson 10 runs on a free quiz page here on cadenceux.com.au.

Open the FileMaker Skills Quiz.

It's open book, the way most FileMaker badges and Anthropic's certificates work. Keep the lessons open, and look up anything you're not sure of as you go.

Enter your name. Just the name for your certificate. No sign-up, no email.

Take the quiz. Twenty-five questions drawn at random from the pool, with the options shuffled. Each attempt draws a different set.

Pass at 80%. Twenty of twenty-five. Short of that, go back to the lessons the questions name, then take it again.

Download the certificate. A PDF with your name, your score and the date.

The questions come from the lesson posts, and every answer is in one of them. Each question names its lesson, so if you're not sure, go back and read it. That's the skill this class is about.

The FileMaker Essentials Certification was sixty-four multiple-choice questions with an 80% pass mark: recall under exam conditions, no reference material allowed. This quiz keeps the pass mark and drops the rest.

A Sample FileMaker Skills Quiz Question

Every question in the quiz looks like this one: four options, and the lesson that holds the answer.

When Claude chooses which Skill to use, what does it read? (Lesson 01)

  • A: The full SKILL.md of every installed Skill

  • B: Every installed Skill's description, and nothing else

  • C: Only the Skill you uploaded most recently

  • D: The reference files in each Skill's folder

Takeaway

Twenty of twenty-five, open book, and every answer is one lesson away. If a question stopped you, that's the lesson to read again, and that's how this class was meant to be used.

More to come . . .
